Overview of Ramachandrapuram.

Migrated Agriculture families from Sarkar region came to Ramachandrapuram on 1959. A few families i.e. ten to fifteen families came to this area which is situated near by Kurnool cuddapah canal for Agriculture purpose.Vemuri chennaiah, tummala venkateswara rao, kadiyala venkatasubbaiah,moolpuri nageswara rao,babburi kondaiah,konati veeraswamy,donepudi venkateswararao, sadda yanada reddy,battini brothers,some others came to this area. They buy some agriculture lands belongs to kondapuram panchayat and chintakuntla panchayat. all settelers like rama.so they decided to the village name ramachandrapuram.vemuri chennaiah buy 120 acres land in this area.he gave land for village for digging well fordrinking water and also given 24 cents land to construct ramalayam. donepudi venkateswararao, talasila lakshmaiah, kadiyala venkatasubbaiah also given land for digging vurakuntas for water.kadiyala venkatasubbaiah former karanam and his son kadiyala prataparao elected many years as a sarpanch to this village.koonam varalakshmi, chowdaiah, nimmkayal malakondaiah were elected since 2011.total four hundred families and two thousand population and twelve hundred voters lived in this village. village people depends mostely in agriculture.most the people ie eighty persent of the population were educated people.every day day this village was well developed. primary high school, veternari hospital,were running in this village. vijadairy milk collection center, podupu bhavan, also in this village..two churches, one ramalayam, one saibaba temple, one veera brahmeswara temples constructed by the villagers..vinayakachavithi,sankranthi,dashara,deepavali ,sreerama navami is the main festivals in this village. sreeramanavami kalyanam also done by this villagers at ramalayam. annadanam wiil be done by this villge to thousands of people this day.so many social and dramatical artistits also shown their performers in this village..panduranga bhajana sangam conducted agni gundam also.on sankranthi festival gramotsavam for seetaramulu and conducted theppostavam in vurakunta. inthis day all people will come to this village where they live in india.
